『チベット密教壁画』フィアンpl.2／四臂マハーカーラ／護法堂(Mgonkhan)の壁画。護法堂の壁面はほぼ全面が忿怒尊の絵で覆われる。現実的なチベット人は仏法を守るには温和な相(柔和相)をとる如来や菩薩では不十分であり、恐しい形相をしつつ、しかも強大な力を持つ多数の忿怒尊のパンテオンを作り上げた。同尊は図像学的には四臂マハーカーラ(Mgonpophyagb?i)に近いが、本尊・明妃とも黄色である。右の二手は長刀と曲刀、左の二手は髑髏杯と鉞斧(パラシュ、para?u)を持つ。明妃は左手を相手の肩にかけ、右手に曲刀を持つ。主尊は虎皮裙をつけ、淡黒色の天衣をまとう。左下部に侍者らしい尊が動物に乗っている。
