Associated Information in Japanese: 『チベット密教壁画』バスゴーpl.21／弥勒堂内部／バスゴー寺弥勒堂の本尊、弥勒菩薩(Ma-itreya)。同堂は16世紀の中葉ラダックのツェワンナムゲル(Ts-hedbanrnamrgyal)王によって建立された。弥勒菩薩は未来の仏陀であるから菩薩形ではあるが悟りを表示する転法輪印を結ぶ。壁画の場合と同じく手のひらは赤く塗られている。部屋全体に装飾が施されているが、とくに柱には龍等が描かれている。これは中国の影響か。また天井はパネル状に仕切られ、唐草文様、亀甲文様、卍くずし文様、雲形文様など各種の文様が施されている。それらのパネルの中にはランチャ文字で書かれた種子マンダラが見られる。
